DEEPSTUFF INTRODUCING – Singer – Abz Winter @AbzWinterMusic

It’s no exaggeration to say unsigned Artist Abz Winter has broken boundaries with her unique sound and fun-loving nature. Whether you’ve been to one of the many live performances or you’ve heard one of her songs, you’ll see why she’s renowned for her musical versatility. Abz music is Dark Pop, with a retro ’80s 90’s sound with electronic, dance, synth-type vibes, and a strong voice that resonates. 

At only 19, Abz has achieved so much, including BBC CWR Introducing ‘Artist Of The Month’, ‘Best New Artist’ status in Coventry, A BRUM Radio’s A-lister, nominated for ‘Best New Female’ at Radio WigWam, and nominated for ‘Best Female 2021’ at the NMG Awards, added to the Hall Of Fame for the NMG having remained in the top 5 charts for over 20 weeks, more recently Abz was ‘Track Of The Week’ for the BIMM Institute a Europe wide, Industry Leading Music College, & Over 18’s Winner for Undiscovered Talent UK 2021. 

Abz has performed at some amazing venues Including The Ricoh Arena, Resorts World, The Arena Birmingham (on the Unsigned Artist stages before the likes of Ariana Grande, Little Mix & Christina Aguilera), Coventry City Centre for the Christmas Light Switch On, Godiva Festival, The Coventry Cathedral Ruins & Solihull SummerFest.  

Abz has worked hard on her songwriting skills and had the opportunity to work with the likes of Will Young, JinJin, Kieron Pepper & Fred Cox, her songs having received airplay both nationally & internationally including BBC Radio 2, BBC CWR, BBC West Midlands, Brum Radio, All FM, Amazing Radio, Radio Wigwam & Eagles Nest Radio. 

These last 6 months Abz Winter has been very busy in her home City, she has performed for HRH Prince Charles & Camilla Parker Bowles, The City Of Culture 2025 Delegates, Sound Of Coventry, and to top it off she was picked from Hundreds to play at the Coventry City Cathedral Ruins for Terry Halls ‘Home Grown Session’ prior to the Lightning Seeds. September 2021 has seen Abz perform on the Next Stage at Godiva Festival as well as the BBC CWR’s Stage, Support for Rugby J, & Heal Festival Shrewsbury, she will also start at BIMM London to study Popular Music & Business.

What does Abz do for fun? well apart from the Gym, walking her dogs, Artistic Swimming & Coaching, she spends her time sleeping!
